Final Project: Web Mapping App Implementation Plan for Transportation CIP/Work Program Projects

For my final project in my GIS 6555 GIS Management class, I created an Implementation Plan for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and administration of a web mapping application for Osceola County in Kissimmee, Florida. This project is "project-based" and serves to meet a mission of a specific department, that of the Transportation and Transit Department by incorporating the use of geographic information systems to help in the geo-visualization of million-dollar transportation projects, as budgeted for the next five years.

In this presentation, topics of an Implementation Plan are discussed such as GIS data maintenance, design, infrastructure, timeline/milestones, formalization of partnerships, and budget costs of the project. Visual semantics, such as ERDs, organizational charts, and process workflow diagrams are used to facilitate the understanding of the project needs.
